End of support for older versions of the PASCOM-TAPI interface

Starting August 1, 2026, we will only support version 7.R188 and higher for our PASCOM TAPI.

Important:
The deadline for updating your TAPI version is July 31, 2026.

Your next steps:
Please act promptly and check the TAPI versions currently in use on your Windows systems. Please ensure that at least version 7.R188 is installed on the devices using PASCOM TAPI.

Our tip:
Allow sufficient time for updates and contact your IT system administrator or PASCOM sales partner if necessary.

End of support for older Android versions in the PASCOM Mobile App

Starting August 1, 2026, the PASCOM Mobile App will support Android 13 and newer versions only.

Affected versions:
Support for Android 10, 11, and 12 will end with the upcoming release (v121).

What you should do:
Please review your devices early and ensure they can be updated to Android 13 or higher.

Our recommendation:
Allow sufficient time for updates or possible device replacements, and contact your IT administrator or PASCOM partner if needed.

Forward journal entries quickly and easily

The PASCOM Cloud Phone System is getting a handy new feature. Starting now, you can forward call log entries directly to colleagues via chat or email. This makes manually copying phone numbers and customer data a thing of the past. You’ll save valuable time in your daily work.

Share call log data instantly with colleagues or your team. All important caller information is automatically included. Your colleagues will have all the necessary information at a glance.

How does it work?
You’ll find the new feature right in your call log. Right-click on the entry you want. Select the appropriate forwarding option from the context menu. The log data for the entry is immediately transferred to the chat or email.

Automatic voicemail summarization by the PASCOM AI agent

We have released a new feature update for the PASCOM Cloud Phone System. Starting now, our AI agent automatically summarizes your voicemails. This gives you a quick overview of longer voicemail messages.

Quick overview of long messages
Previously, you had to listen to every voicemail in its entirety or read the entire text. Now, the PASCOM AI agent generates short, concise sentences that immediately convey the essence of the message. This allows you to respond more quickly to important inquiries.

Of course, you can also search through the voicemail summaries. This makes it easy to quickly find important information later on. It saves valuable time in your daily work.

Ready to use immediately without configuration
You don’t need to make any extra settings for this new feature. All you have to do is enable transcription for voicemail messages on the cloud PBX.

The PASCOM Welcome AI Agent is now available for everyone

After a successful beta phase, our intelligent Welcome AI Agent is now available to all PASCOM Cloud customers. With this new feature, we are bringing the benefits of artificial intelligence directly to your phone system.

Professional greeting from the first second

The Welcome AI Agent allows you to address your callers in a personalized and professional manner. It interacts efficiently with your customers before they are put through to a human employee. This ensures a first-class service experience while simultaneously relieving your team.

Simple configuration without programming effort

You do not need any technical expertise for the setup. The configuration is done entirely in natural language. You simply give the agent instructions on how it should behave.

  • Time-based greetings.
  • Identification of p.e. VIP customers using labels.
  • Targeted information for specific caller groups.

Test extensively with the integrated simulator

To ensure everything runs smoothly, we have integrated a simulator directly into the Admin Dashboard. You can simulate calls there and test the logic of your agent extensively. Only when you are satisfied with the results do you activate the function for your customers.

New update to the PASCOM cloud telephone system – bug fixes and improvements

A new update for PASCOM Cloud is available. Look forward to new features, improvements, and bug fixes that make the system even more powerful and user-friendly.


All changes at a glance:


  •     Fixed an issue where new app profiles could not be saved if they included a call forwarding.
  •     Removed the Gamma / HFO Trunk Template. This external provider is no longer supported.
  •     Removed the Deutsche Telefon Trunk Template. This external provider is no longer supported.
  •     Improved the WhatsApp Connector. Call status now works more reliably.

Personalized service from the very first moment: Offer your callers an even better service experience with our latest feature in the pascom BETA Cloud. Starting now, you can integrate a Welcome Agent into your call distribution system to interact with your customers intelligently and efficiently. 

Here's how it works:

1. Create a new welcome agent: In the Admin Dashboard, create a new AI agent (welcome agent).

2. Define the task (prompting): Give the agent a detailed task using natural language. For example:

"As an agent in the office queue at Company XY, you answer incoming calls. Greet the caller based on the time of day, using their title and last name. Politely inform the caller that the next available agent will attend to their call as soon as possible. If the VIP = yes label is set, tell the caller that, as a premium customer, they can expect particularly short wait times."

3. Done: Just add the AI agent to a call distribution group—and it’s ready to go!

Now you can manage your availability even more effectively! Following a successful test phase, the smart upgrade for the direct-dial switch is now available to all pascom customers. Simply combine your direct-dial switch with intelligent time control to manage call forwarding, actions, and conditions with even greater precision and fully automatically.

Here's how the new timer works:

With this update, you can now set custom schedules as rules for your extension switches:

  • Set specific times: Assign a specific schedule to your extension switch.
  • Combine rules flexibly: Create multiple rules that work together intelligently.
  • Use the fully automatic mode: For example, have the relevant switches turn on right at the start of the workday and turn off automatically at the end of the day.
