New in the Beta Cloud: From call to appointment - Pia now plans directly in the calendar

Pia is learning. From now on, the calendar integration for Microsoft 365 is entering the beta phase.

With the PASCOM Connector "Microsoft 365 Calendar" you can connect Microsoft calendars directly with Pia. This makes your AI agent not only a digital receptionist but also able to find available appointments and schedule them directly during a phone call.

Book appointments directly during the conversation

After setting up the Microsoft 365 Calendar Connector, the connected calendars are immediately available within the Pia configuration. Using the inline tools, you can easily specify that Pia should coordinate and book appointments.

Instead of forwarding callers to an employee or having them call back, Pia can determine available times, make suitable suggestions, and directly enter appointments.

Flexible appointment scheduling

Various settings are available for scheduling appointments:

  • Calendar: Select the calendar in which appointments should be created.
  • Appointment duration: Define the duration of an appointment, e.g., 30 or 60 minutes.
  • Buffer time: Automatically reserve time before or after appointments.
  • Number of appointment suggestions: Specify how many available appointments Pia should offer to the caller.
  • Minimum lead time: Prevent last-minute bookings and ensure there is enough preparation time.
  • Max. booking horizon: Limit how far into the future appointments can be scheduled.
  • Availability times: Use defined business or office hours for appointment scheduling.
  • Out-of-office calendar: Automatically consider vacations, holidays, or other absences in the scheduling process.

Easily controlled via prompts

As with all Pia functions, control is done through prompts and inline tools. This allows for flexible integration of appointment scheduling into existing conversation flows and customization to individual requirements.

We look forward to your feedback on the beta and are excited about your use cases for automatic appointment scheduling with Pia.
