Deprecation: Minimum supported pascom app version will be raised to v.118

To maintain the highest level of security, performance, and compatibility for our communication solutions, we are increasing the minimum supported version of pascom apps. Here is what you need to know.

End of Support for Older Versions 🚀

Starting February 1st, 2026, we will exclusively support pascom apps of version 118 or higher. This step ensures that all users benefit from the latest security fixes and features.

  • ✅ Enhanced Security: Current versions provide optimal protection for your communication.
  • ✅ Better Performance: Optimized workflows in the latest app generations.
  • ⚠️ Deadline: February 1st, 2026.

How to Check Your Version and Update 🛠️

Typically, the pascom app updates automatically. If you have disabled automatic updates, please check your version:

In the app, navigate to Settings > About pascom Client > Version. If your version is lower than 118, please perform an update promptly.

  • 💡 Tip: Enable automatic updates in the settings to always stay up to date.
  • 🖥️ Terminal Server: For Windows Terminal Server environments, we offer an automation script to simplify the update process. Detailed instructions can be found in our documentation.

If you are unable to perform the update yourself, please contact your IT administrator or your pascom partner.

Deprecation: Support Ending for Older Windows 10 & Windows Server 2016

To ensure the security, stability, and full range of functions of the pascom apps in the future, upcoming app versions will require a more recent version of Windows. Here is everything you need to know.

Focus on Security and Stability 🚀

Modern software requires a modern foundation. To continue providing you with first-class communication features and the highest security standards, we are updating our system requirements.

  • ✅ Windows 10: Version 1809 or higher
  • ✅ Windows Server: Version 2019 or higher
  • ⚠️ Deadline: Starting February 1st, 2026, new pascom app versions will exclusively support these systems.

What happens if you use an older version? 🛠️

If you are still using an older operating system (e.g., Windows 10 versions prior to 1809 or Windows Server 2016), your installed pascom app will not suddenly stop working. 

However, please note:

  • The app will remain on the last compatible version.
  • No further updates or security fixes will be provided for this version.

We therefore recommend that you update your operating system promptly or coordinate with your system administrator or pascom partner.

XRechnung now available in the mypascom Portal

We are pleased to present an important new feature in the mypascom Portal: XRechnung is here!

What does this mean for you?

✅ Machine-readable & standardized: Your invoices are now automatically transmitted in a future-proof format.

✅ Legally compliant & compliant: From 2025, companies in Germany must be able to receive and process XRechnungen. With mypascom, you are perfectly prepared!

✅ Efficient invoice dispatch: By default, you will now receive your invoices in the mypascom Portal as both a PDF and an XRechnung via email.

You can also switch completely to XRechnung now.

Update to the pascom cloud telephone system – bug fixes and improvements

We are pleased to present two new functions that are available with the latest update on the pascom Cloud Phone System!

🌟 Session data of the pascom app via the REST API interface

    Would you like to keep an overview of your app sessions? Via the REST API interface, you can now query detailed data on the sessions of your pascom apps, including:

  • Username
  • Workplace
  • Login and Logout timestamp
  • Whether the user is currently online

    This gives you full control and transparency over your users' sessions in the pascom app at all times.

🌟 Labels for SIP Trunks – More context for incoming calls

    Improve the clarity of your incoming calls with our new label function for SIP Trunks!

  • What's new? You can now store a generic label (e.g., "Location" or "Department") directly in the basic settings of your SIP trunk.



  • How does it work? As soon as you create various incoming call rules (e.g., for "Munich" or "Stuttgart") with specific phone numbers, the description text of these call rules is automatically transferred to the label you defined.




  • Your advantage: Users of your pascom app see this relevant information (e.g., "Call from Munich") directly with the incoming call. This provides direct context and enables faster and more efficient call processing – especially in, for example, companies with multiple locations or departments.

Automatically convert call recordings into text

Utilize the powerful AI transcriptions of your pascom phone system directly in the pascom App! This new function automatically converts your call recordings into text, allowing you to quickly and clearly view all important content of your phone calls. You can conveniently find the transcribed texts in the respective journal entry of the call log – so you always keep an overview and can manage your conversations even more easily.

✅ Quick Overview: Find important information at a glance, without having to listen to long audio files.

🔍 Searchable: Easily search for keywords in your transcribed conversations.

✍️ Simple Management: Process the entries with additional notes directly in the journal entry.

Easily identify transcribed entries by a REC symbol in the call log and by an AI robot avatar in the notes. 🤖

Administrators can easily activate AI transcription in the recording system.
